A friend of mine recommend Mr Sadek to me after a bad bought of sciatica. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Maryam and of course the delightful Mr Sadek. I was put at ease and received a thoroughly professional service, I knew what was going on, why, and how best to resolve it, everything was very clear and easy to follow and delivered in such a friendly manner, not once did I feel rushed. Mr Sadek took time to explain my symptoms and the necessary steps required to resolve my pain issues, explained in a language I could understand, I felt totally at ease when he told me about surgery required and expected outcome including risks involved,

From my first visit with Mr Sadek 3years ago until my Operation this year Mr Sadek has been truly amazing in every way, I had herniated discs causing sever sciatica in both legs, i was totally bend over, in crippling pain unable to walk the length of myself, at first i had concretive treatment, he tried everything in his knowledge and power to manage my pain as i feared surgery so much and that he did...
we manged to avoid surgery for over three years and for that i was extremely grateful..
when finally decided there was no option but to go with surgery I had absolutely no fear!! I was totally confident in Mr sadek, i went into theatre with a smile on my face so excited to get better as I was that confident in Sadek.
I realise there are many in need of his help but never felt that way he always listened, he understood my pain as if it was his own, he supported as if we were fighting this battle together as god knows sometimes i felt like the only person with this much pain...Mr sadek visited me after my surgery to reasure me,, he was just as delighted for me as i was with the outcome, i now have my posture back straighter than ever before and im doing really well with physio ,im pain free!! so thank you Mr sadek and team, there are not enough words to tell you just how thankful i am for you and a big thank you to Maryam, Maryam always went out of her way to help and reassure me.. always got me in when i know at times was not easy. I wish nothing but the best for you all.

I visited Mr Sadek on a brief trip to London as I had been in pain and was experiencing restricted mobility which no one in my home country had been able to diagnose.
Mr Sadek listened and tested me and sent me for an MRI to pinpoint the underlying cause, and then had a tele-conference with me to discuss the results. After all of this, he answered several questions for me and sent me a detailed report so that I could see a local practitioner for follow up.
I felt very well cared for and was thoroughly impressed by the care received.

After a lumbar Microdiscectomy and Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak I can safely say that Mr Sadek goes above and beyond to ensure I got the right care I needed.
I felt a 100% safe and validated in the fragile situation I was in and will forever be grateful that he is the consultant who performed surgery twice.
His Medical Secretary was even on stand-bye on weekend and as things took a turn Mr Sadek even performed surgery on Sunday morning himself which I am highly grateful for.

Ahmed is a consultant neurosurgeon who specialises in complex spinal surgery and is the Clinical Lead for Neurosurgery at Queens Hospital, London. In addition to this he is the NHS England North East London & Essex Spinal Research Lead. He has a busy practice and sees NHS patients at Queens Hospital, Barking Havering Redbridge University Trust and private patients in London.
He has completed the Sir Hugh Cairns combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical complex spinal fellowship at the Royal London Hospital. Prior to this he was an academic trainee in Wessex and held the Jason Brice Fellowship in Neurosurgical research during which he spent a year at the Universitätklinikum Bonn, Germany. He was awarded a doctorate (D.Phil. Oxon) in 2005 from the MRC Anatomical Neuropharmacology unit at the Univerisity of Oxford where he was awarded numerous prizes and scholarships. He completed his medical training in London at St. Georges Hospital Medical School.
